  The night skies are absolutely beautiful and unlike any I have ever seen before. The low light levels in the area make great night viewing. Be sure to bring your telescope. The area is surrounded by rainforest and many varieties of birds and wildlife. Lake Arenal is a hot spot for Painting Artists and Galleries. Many artist have moved from all over the world to set up a gallery in Lake Arenal.
